The role

Bristol Veterinary School is seeking to recruit a Veterinarian with expertise in the meat industry, to provide specialist operational and technical expertise through the delivery of specialist teaching and training courses to professionals, undergraduate and postgraduate students.

What will you be doing?

You join the Veterinary Public Health team at Bristol Vet School and will lead the delivery of the existing course portfolio through our FDQ accredi-ted centre. They will expand course delivery in the UK and external mar-kets; contributing to global veterinary public health and animal welfare standards.

They will actively strengthen the University’s position as a centre for excellence and resource of best practice and innovation in the fields of Animal Welfare, Food Safety and Veterinary Public Health.

You should apply if

  • You will hold a veterinary degree and be MRCVS registered, with a postgraduate qualification in the field of veterinary public health or disease control, and an established profile in the field of slaughter animal welfare, food safety and quality
  • You will have experience in the delivery and development of related course for the meat industry, as a lecturer, external speaker and industry spokesperson
