Experienced Veterinary Surgeon
We are a RCVS accredited Small Animal Hospital with a dedicated OOH team. We require an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our team of 3.5 day vets. This is a part time role working two days a week but we can be flexible. No Out of Hours or weekends. We have 15 minute appoint-ments and well bonded, committed clients. We pride ourselves in our high standards and have 6 Outstanding Practice Standards awards. We thrive on teamwork and support each other through case discussion and clinical ward rounds.
We are a friendly RCVS accredited small animal Hospital and have been awarded outstanding in all 6 Practice Standard Awards. We work to an extremely high standard. We have separate dog and cat wards. We have in house laboratory, dental x ray and laparoscopic equipment. We run a cardiology referral service therefore have excellent ECG, ultrasound and X-ray equipment. We have a dedicated OOH team who are responsible for OOH work, including all Saturday consultations.
The vets and nurses thrive on working as a cohesive team. We have ward rounds three times daily to ensure high in-patient care and are very collaborative in our working. We have a cardiology referral clinician with a cardiology certificate. One OOH vet has an ECC certificate and other vets are studying towards certificate.
We are looking for a team player with great enthusiasm for both consulting and working up cases and who is an experienced confident surgeon. We are seeking someone who enjoys building long term client relationships.
