Practice Manager required at Bray House Vets, Mowbray, Leicestershire

The role

A day in the life of a Practice Manger is full of variety, from assisting the Clinical Director in the day to day running of the practice to developing the business, leading the team, debt management, HR, client complaints and more. We are looking for a Practice Manager to continue the inspiring leadership of our successful practice sites. You will work closely with our Clinical Director and team, and be involved in all aspects of practice management including debt and cost control, customer service, people management, and general management of our sites.

About Us

Both of our practices are situated within walking distance of the town centres. Our mother practice is in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. This
is where the Bray House Story began over two decades ago. A few years later, Bray House Vets in Grantham, Lincolnshire was born. Both prac-tices are equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, ECG, as well as all the necessities for a first opinion practice. We have a visiting referral orthopaedic Vet, who joins us on a need to basis to perform some sur-geries for us. Both practices have a separate dog and cat ward to mini-mize the stress for our inpatients. They are both equipped with rea-sonably sized theatres and consult rooms and offer generous reception waiting areas (when clients are allowed back in!).

We are a 4 Vet practice with a very supportive team of 7 RVN's, an ANA and a Receptionist. We are committed to providing excellent veterinary and customer care- always seeking to improve our standards. Bray House is a friendly and supportive place to work - more like a family. We deal with a variety of cases and pride ourselves on a high-level of patient care.

The Winning Candidate

You will be dedicated and enthusiastic, mature, motivated, highly competent and have excellent customer relations and communication skills. The ability to multitask and take responsibility is essential. You will be calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment, take a genuine interest in your work and the well-being of the whole team. Veterinary management experience is preferred, although applicants who can demonstrate good leadership qualities will also be considered. You will need strong leadership skills with an ability to be forward thinking, influence and engage with our staff as well as steer them through times of change.

As a BAME and LGBTQ+ inclusive employer, we are keen to hear from candidates from all minority and diverse groups.

As a Disability Confident Employer, we are keen to hear from candidates with disabilities and long-term health conditions and would be happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments needed during the recruitment process.
