The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Night Nurse to join
our team here at Oakham Veterinary Hospital! Supporting the duty vet, our night nurses provide full gold-standard nursing to the patients in our care. We have a wide and varied caseload, and the night-nurse is able to put into practice their emergency and critical-care experience & skills.

Rota

3 nights per week: Sunday, Monday & Tuesday. Working shifts, not sleeping shifts

About Us

We offer extensive hospital facilities and diagnostic equipment, including CT. We offer a complete veterinary service, from preventa-
tive health to specialist surgery with the very latest 'state of the art' equipment. We have a clinical association with the University of Nottingham School of Veterinary Medicine and Science giving us
access to the expertise from leading veterinary specialists.

About the Team and Culture

Our clinical team currently consists of 10 RVNs, a 2nd year student, a HCA and a hospital assistant. We have 9 vets, ranging from certificate holders in cardiology, medicine, surgery and dentistry through to new graduates. Our team, including the customer care and support teams,
are all dedicated to deliver the very best of veterinary care and service.

Candidate Requirements

A minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in emergency & critical care is essential, preferably gained whilst working nights. Experience in providing full gold-standard nursing to in-patients and emergency cases is essential.

Candidates should demonstrate effective communication skills, both orally and written. They should be enthusiastic, self-motivated and resilient, demonstrating a passion for providing excellent nursing care
