We currently have an amazing opportunity available for a Head Veterinary Nurse to come and join our friendly and enthusiastic team at Seymour Vets. As our head nurse you will lead and support our team of Nurses holding regular team meetings and one to ones. Your new role includes responsibility for maintaining practice standards including clinical governance, practice standards scheme, nurse clinics/campaigns, stock and rota management as well as driving practice initiatives. You will be primarily based at our Totnes Hospital but will also require some branch cover too. Our newly renovated hospital has provided us with a bright spacious modern practice with the most up to date Veterinary facilities, including an on-site CT scanner, dedicated dental suite with DR dental x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy and in-house laboratory.

This is a full time position working 40 hours per week with a share in the 1:6 weekend rota. We also benefit from no Night work!

Ideally we are looking for someone with previous experience of leading a team or someone who is ready to take that next step in their career.
