Veterinary Surgeon required for Bridge Vets Portlethen, Aberdeenshire

The Role

We are currently looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at Bridge Vets in Aberdeen. This is a full-time role for 38 hours per week including Saturday mornings 9 am-12.30 pm. There are no out-of-hours.

The Practice

We are a friendly RCVS accredited small animal practice with four sites across Aberdeen. We are a progressive team who are always looking to improve ourselves and the services we can offer. Aberdeenshire really does have it all, majestic mountains, and endless countryside along with stunning coastline perfect for all manner of water sports. For those who are more city-minded, the benefits of being the oil capital of Europe are reflected in the many restaurants, café’s, cocktail bars, arts venues, theatres, comedy clubs and live music venues. To boot Aberdeen has great transport links to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Orkney, Shetland, and London along with many other UK and European hubs.

Within our Portlethen site, we have 3 Vets / 3 RVN's and support staff. We have a great working environment and work closely with other sites across the group. There may be an opportunity to work across two sites, Bridge of Don and Portlethen.

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated Veterinary Surgeon, competent in consulting and routine surgery, dentals and diagnostics. Confident and professional, you will be comfortable in working sole charge. In addition to your excellent clinical skills, you need to be a people-oriented person with

strong communication skills. You’ll thrive in a team and have a passion to deliver great clinical quality and fantastic client service
