The role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a small animal veterinary surgeon to join our well established practice in Trent Vale, Stoke on Trent. Great opportunity to develop and progress this practice alongside a very experience Head RVN and a PCA.

As a qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You will be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team.

In this role you will have case continuity enabling you to bond with our clients and patients.

At Medivet Stoke you will be working with an experienced team that includes a Head Nurse and an SVN. You will also be working closely with our sister branches in Newcastle under Lyme and Rocester where you will be part of a wider Staffordshire team, consisting of a Clinical Director, qualified Vets, RVN's and SVN's.

This role is part time working 1:6 Saturday's, weekday hours/days are negotiable.  

Our consults are 15 minute appointments but can be lengthened for in depth cases when necessary. 

CPD and certificates are encouraged to help develop skills.

Medivet Stoke on Trent is located on London Road. The practice is very accessible with the M6 and the A50 a 5-minute drive away. As well as our in-house services at Medivet Stoke on Trent, you’ll also get access to all the services available across the entire Medivet group.

The practice is a short distance from Intu Potteries shopping centre which has 96+ stores and over 150 well-known brands, Cineworld cinema and over 20 delicious restaurants & bars. The Trentham Estate has landscaped Italian gardens and a forest with monkeys which is in walking distance from the practice. The beautiful Peak District is an hours drive away giving you the perfect opportunity to spend days out in lovely surroundings.
