We are looking for a part time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our positive and friendly team here at Cootes Veterinary Clinic. At Cootes
you will always have a full and varied day. We have a real mixed bag of animals and no two days are the same. You will be doing all the relevant nursing duties along with taking responsibility for the upkeep of the bloods machine. We have modern theatre facilities, x-ray equipment, laparoscopic and lab equipment. You will have the opportunity to work with visiting specialists in imaging and endoscopy. We are a kind and supportive team who love what we do. We strive to give the best service to our customers and their animals and will ask that you do the same.

We offer great CPD and training opportunities and encourage our team members to do as much training as they want or need. This role is part-time working 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, and you will have no out of hours responsibilities.

Based in West Sussex, Cootes Veterinary Clinic is an award winning, modern recently refurbished practice with great facilities, we have a
large private car park and good access. Recently our computer systems and practice management software has been upgraded, we are currently running Merlin PMS. We have a large airy kennel room, theatre, prep room, consult rooms and waiting room. Cootes is situated in a beautiful countryside location with plenty of outside space to enjoy. Nurses at Cootes have a lot of hands on nursing with fully bonded clients and patients. There will be opportunities to do nurse consults and build
your own rapport with your customers. There is a local town with plenty
of shopping to enjoy on your break or good country walks if you prefer.

Here at Cootes we have two full time Vets, two full time Nurses and a locum. All of our staff are very experienced and willing to help and support each other. Our team are like one big family, we like to get together outside of work, and we try to organise a summer get together and a Christmas party. We like to have a yearly dog show in aid of local charities in which the whole team get involved and volunteer their time. Nurses are on hand at the show to give advice, demonstrations or talks
if you wish. We will be looking at starting client CPD evenings so there would be an opportunity for you to make this your own.

We are looking for a kind, caring, compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our practice. You must be able to take charge of your own patients and be competent in all aspects of the role. We are a happy supportive team and we would like someone who fits in well and is happy to help out and support other members of the team. We would ideally like someone who has new and fresh ideas to engage our clients. We are looking at offering client CPD so if you have an interest in provi-ding this, it would be desirable. Our yearly dog show needs some new ideas and input so someone that is willing to help with this would also be desirable.
