We are looking for a motivated individual to lead a team of vets, nurses and reception staff. This is a great opportunity for any vet wanting to take the next challenge in their career. We are looking for an enthusiastic Lead Veterinary Surgeon that will drive high clinical standards.

Oak Beck boasts a supportive team with an experienced Head Nurse who has a passion for both patient and client care. The facilities are impressive and include an in-house CT scanner.

Key accountabilities:

As well as your day-to-day duties within practice caring for your patients and clients, you will play a key role in leading and managing the team. You will have the drive and ambition to develop the practice client base, ensuring high standards of care are always delivered.

Branch Partnership opportunities within this practice are also available where you can own a share of the clinic, have complete clinical freedom whilst receiving full support from the wider Medivet network.

Skills and experience:

You must be a Veterinary Surgeon who is registered with the RCVS. We are looking for a vet with at least a few years  experience for this role.

Rewards & Benefits:

£65,000 salary package

Company vehicle available upon request 

CPD plus CPD leave

RCVS, BVA and VDS fees paid

5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

A 4 week paid sabbatical after 5 years of service

We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.

Harrogate Oak Beck Way is a well-equipped practice tucked away on the outskirts of Harrogate yet close enough to pop out at lunch time.

The practice has 2 theatres, a large prep room, separate dog and cat ward and a separate fully furbished dental suite. Spacious and bright reception/waiting area with separate dog and cat seating.

Modern digital X-ray, a brand-new ultrasound scanner with an impressive image quality in a wide range of applications and CT scanner facilities.

In house lab equipment with up to date analysers and external lab support and services.
