Medicine internship– Highcroft Referrals

Discipline Specific Internship Programme

Highcroft Referrals is recruiting a Medicine Intern to join our specialist-led medicine department. This will be a one-year post, working alongside four European Specialists in Internal Medicine and an ECVIM-CA resident.

Highcroft Referrals is an expanding multi-disciplinary referral hospital based in Bristol, with specialists in oncology, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, anaesthesia, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, neurology, dermatology and ophthalmology. In 2022 will be moving into a new, purpose built, state-of-the-art hospital in Avonmouth. This will provide our staff with unprecedented opportunity to be part of a flag-ship development including the first linear accelerator for radiotherapy in the South West. More information about our new hospital can be found here.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated medicine intern who is committed to practising the highest standards of veterinary medicine and patient care and who would relish the opportunity to further their career, improve their knowledge base and technical skills. Opportunities for case responsibility, training in medical procedures including endoscopy, and a supportive learning environment are available for the right candidate.
