Farm Vet – Alnorthumbria Veterinary Group
We are seeking an Farm Vet to join our progressive team of 10 Farm Vets in Northumberland.
The caseload is predominantly beef and sheep, with a few dairy farms, and minimal TB testing. The farm team are supportive, friendly and committed to delivering a high level of clinical and client care. We work with a group of enthusiastic forward-thinking farmers which provides great job satisfaction
We deliver an exemplary level of service to farmers, in terms of both preventative and emergency animal care. Each farm branch is well equipped to include ultrasound scanners, semen testing kit and a courier lab service. Frequent farmer training events are provided to support farming enterprises. The practice continually strives to offer new farm services, the most recent of which is sheep and cattle AI.
Support will be provided to allow individuals to further develop clinical interests, facilitate career development and undertake further qualifications.
Experience preferred but applications will also be considered from confident new graduates.
The practice is situated in a stunning location with coasts, castles and the Cheviot hills on your doorstep. With an OOH rota of 1:5, and a generous time off in lieu, you will have plenty of spare time to explore what Northumberland has to offer and achieve a good work-life balance.
