Veterinary Surgeon required at Wombourne Vets (Island)
Small animal Veterinary Surgeon required at a busy first opinion practice. Your time will be spread across two different branches with routine pro-cedures carried out daily. Therefore a driving license and vehicle are required. You would be required to work 4 days a week with a set day off each week and one in 5 Saturdays. No OOH. Working 40 hour per week.
Great village location close to both the gorgeous Shropshire countryside and city centres. Large client base and scope to follow your own cases from start to finish. We have a fantastic team of both vets and support staff consisting of 4 other vets with varying degrees of experience, 4 RVN’s & 6 SVN’s, 2 Receptionists ad 2 VCA’s that truly make coming to work a pleasure. We regularly socialise as a team outside of work. We have fully equipped theatres, an X-Ray room, new dental machines and an ultrasound scanner. We also have a top of the range blood work analysis machine in our fully equipped laboratory. We are able to carry out minor orthopaedic procedures. CPD is actively encouraged and funded.
A qualified vet to MRCVS standards is mandatory. With experience it would be ideal if that was in small animal but again we are willing to take large animal work as experience. Newly qualified applicants are welcome and full support will be provided as required.
