The role:

We are looking for a driven Lead Veterinary Surgeon or Vet wanting to join Medivet as a Branch Partner that will drive high clinical standards.  A medical bias would be preferred but not essential.

You must be an experienced vet with a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard both medically and surgically and have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further.

The branch partnership offers the includes following:

The Lead vet position offers.

We offer a 4 day working week and have our own dedicated 24 hour centre at Dearne Valley that covers on-call.

Support for those wanting to work towards certificate level with full funding available.

You will receive a comprehensive range of benefits including:

- Salary package up to £65,000 depending on experience plus a £2,000 joining fee*
- 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays
- £1500 CPD allowance plus 3 days CPD leave
- Accommodation allowance £4,800
- Vehicle or vehicle allowance £2,500
- VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid

Branch:

Dearne Valley is a 24 hour purpose built facility with up to date digital x-ray, ultrasound and full body CT scanner and an in house laboratory.

The practice has 3 large consulting rooms, 2 theatres, large prep area, internal lab facilities and large learning and office spaces.

South Yorkshire is the gateway to the beautiful peak district. Once an industrial heartland, the region has been transformed and boasts excellent facilities for music, sport, culture and outdoor activities.

The famous city of Sheffield brings a large variety of shops, places to eat, theatres and the Millennium Gallery, where you can enjoy art, craft and design. As South Yorkshire sits on the border with North Yorkshire, you can explore the dales alongside historic cities such as York, Harrogate, Thirsk and Ripon.
