Experienced Veterinary Surgeon required to join our team of 6 vets. We are replacing a vet who has been at the practice for 35 years and has now decided it’s time to retire. We are located on the edge of the beautiful Malvern Hills.

We are looking for a competent mainly small animal vet who is also capable of farm work. The position is full time, working 4.5 days per week plus 1 in 5 weekend rota and 1 in 5 weekday OOH rota. We do our own OOH. Salary range £38,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience.

We are a modern practice located in a traditional Victorian building in the heart of Great Malvern. Good access to motorway network, but beautiful Worcestershire and Herefordshire on your doorstep. We have digital radio-graphy, ultrasound, laser, endoscopy, separate cat/dog/rabbit wards. Staff dog kennels are available. RCVS accredited practice and VN training practice. We provide our own out of hours service to registered clients only - remuneration for each client seen.

Our friendly and supportive team consists 6 vets, 6 nurses, 1 ANA/ Groomer, 3 receptionists and 1 practice manager. We have visiting orthopaedic referral services. A liking of home baking is a must! We provide veterinary services to the CP and also a local very proactive animal shelter.

A qualified vet ideally with experience in small animal practice but some capability in farm animal would be preferential but not essential. Capable of sole charge OOH cover.
