We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with some experience to join our first opinion small animal practice on a full-time maternity cover basis, with the potential to extend. Although experience is preferable we would consider a motivated new graduate. The role is full time, four days per week with some Saturday mornings and participation in our in-house OOH service working as part of our friendly and supportive team of vets, nurses and support staff. Our four branch practice is in rural Somerset with beautiful scenery and the Jurassic coastline within easy reach with transport links via motorway and rail. All the branches are well-equipped with digital radiography and in-house blood diagnostic machines. Advanced orthopaedic surgery is available to our clients via a visiting specialist and we have certificate holders in ophthalmology and surgery within our team of experienced vets.

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with the confidence to handle routine sole - charge consults, including routine surgical proce-dures, as well as managing caseloads with fifteen minute appointments. Applicants must be RCVS registered. We encourage and fund CPD including study for higher qualifications.
