The Role

Due to expansion, we are seeking an experienced veterinary surgeon to grow and develop our well equipped purpose built practice. 

Joining our professional, personable team in our Quarrington practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.

As well as your day to day duties within practice caring for your patients and clients, you will play a key role in leading and managing the team. You will have the drive and ambition to develop the practice client base, ensuring high standards of care are always delivered.

As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team. Sharing our values being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you will have all the softer skills essential to working effectively and empathetically, such as good communication skills, mediation experience, and the ability to share knowledge and lead by being an outstanding, positive example to others.

Branch Partnership opportunities within this practice are also available where you can own part of the clinic, have complete clinical freedom whilst receiving full support from the wider Medivet network.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary package up to £75k dependent on experience, to include:

Accommodation allowance £5,400
Vehicle or vehicle allowance of £2,500
CPD allowance £1,500 plus 3 days CPD leave
VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid
5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.

Branch

Medivet Quarrington is a lovely purpose-built practice, that consists of a large prep area which leads onto two theatres, orthopaedic surgery, separate dental room, separate x-ray room, separate dog and cat wards and large conference/training room.

The practice is equipped with an ultrasound machine, digital x-ray and Regenerative Medicine Service. The branch also has invited only blood donor days and the practice holds Cat Friendly Clinic accreditation by the International Society of Feline Medicine. The successful candidate will be a joining a team of three Vets, Head RVN, RVN, two Patient Care Assistants and two Client Care Assistants.

The practice is easily accessible by car to Lincoln city centre and a 25-minute drive from the A1, A15 & A17.
