Veterinary Surgeon - Full Time - Luton Vets4Pets

Job Description 

Come and be a part of our team here at Vets4Pets Luton! We are an established standalone small animal practice based in Luton and are looking for a qualified, professional and enthusiastic individual who wishes to be part of a vibrant Vet team.  

The bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery is built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including Doppler Ultra-sound and video flexible endoscopy, ECG, BP, capnography, orthopaedic procedures and laser therapy. We have a strong, established and well insured client base that would support the development of a colleague with a steady stream of sick pet work, and certainly not just be limited to routine healthcare and preventative care. 

You'll see a very varied caseload with medicine and surgery. The JVP has supported the development of many new and recent graduates and wants to encourage learning and personal development. There is poten-tial scope for future partnership with an experienced vet who wants to share in the success of the practice. 

The ideal candidate will be competent, experienced and able to assist the practice to grow further. You will be a good at communicator with clients and colleagues and have a positive can-do attitude.

You'll be joining a supportive team of 3.5 vets, 4 nurses, 2 ACA, 4 receptionists, a clinical manager, a customer care manager and Partner Mark Antcliffe. Mark is a 1997 Glasgow Graduate and has been in small animal practice for over 20 years.

Mark strongly encourages career growth and a close-knit team environment. Individual case follow up and vet continuity is encouraged and clinical meetings are held regularly to help internal communication. 

The position is full time over 4 days per week, and will include Saturdays on a rota basis allowing life to continue outside work, and will not involve any OOH. No Sundays, no nights, no sole charge, no on call. We have a great relationship with our OOH provider, Vets Now and our clients are always very happy with the service they provide.
