The Role

Due to retirement, we require an experienced Veterinary Surgeon for mixed veterinary duties. The role will be a mix of small animal medicine and surgery alongside some large animal work (Dairy, Beef, Sheep and Equine) and will also include some TB testing work. The hours are typi-cally Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm with one week night plus 1:4 weekend on call rota and inpatient care.

We also could accommodate small animal / large animal / mixed caseloads dependent on your preference.

About Us

Otter Vets is a mixed practice based in the regency town of Sidmouth, East Devon on the coast. We have an additional clinic further inland at Ottery St Mary.  Both are located with easy access to the Jurassic Coast, Exeter, Plymouth, Taunton, Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks. We are a 2 site group and have busy small animal clinics at both sites with the large animal side of the business being run from Sidmouth. We are proud to manage our own out of hours and our phones are outsourced in order to triage calls during these times.
