We are currently seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our well established 3 vet team at Medivet Catton in Norwich. 

This is a great opportunity to work in our multi-vet practice in an environment where our experienced Vets will support you by sharing skills and knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience, have a client-oriented approach with excellent communication skills and work to a very high standard both medically and surgically. You must be confident with routine surgical procedures and basic dentistry as a minimum requirement.

All of our Norwich branches now have the service of our new 24 hour hospital in Horsford. There is opportunity to work closely with this team and they will provide back up with inpatient care and internal transfers, including orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery.

This is a full time role working 4 days per week with 1:3 Saturday's or 1:6 full weekends.

Salary & Benefits

Competitive salary package to include:

Salary £35,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience

Accommodation allowance of £6,600 per annum

Vehicle or vehicle allowance of £2,500 per annum

RCVS, BVA and VDS fees paid per annum

CPD allowance £1,500 plus 3 days CPD leave per annum

5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

Our Catton practice is located just outside Norwich City Centre in a beautiful spacious building. The branch comes exceptionally equipped with high quality ultrasound machine, endoscopy, digital x-ray, multi-parameter monitoring, ECG as well as a high standard in-house laboratory. The well-established 3 Vet practice is run by Branch Partner Hanneke Kruger and complemented by a strong organised nursing team who are experienced and dedicated to providing outstanding care. Our friendly nursing team consists of a Head RVN, a RVN, two Student Nurses, Patient Care Assistants and a Client Care Assistant team.
