We are currently looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team in Halstead, Essex. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week over 4 days a week. Variable shift pattern 8am-7pm with 1 in 6 Saturday mornings 9am-12pm and 1 in 6 weekends Saturday 8am-4pm and Sunday 8am-12pm. Our out of hours are covered by Vets Now.

The role will involve contributing to all sides of small animal veterinary roles, both consults and theatre, with the ability to follow up your own cases within a supportive environment. We have a diverse range of clients whose requirements are equally varied.

We are a busy small animal and equine rural practice located on the Essex Suffolk borders with a friendly team of 6 Veterinary Surgeons, 8 experienced Veterinary Nurses and several kennel assistants. You will
be joining a larger practice all working from the same site. Usual diagnos-tics, ultrasound/CR radiography/endoscopy, visiting peripatetic medics/- ophthalmologist if required. This is a friendly and supportive team with a collaborative approach to the more complicated cases.

Our ideal candidate will have some experience, who is happy to work
as a team member and has good communication skills with both their colleagues and clients. Empathy and an excellent bedside manner are essential.
