The role:

Join our team of enthusiastic, academically-inclined and motivated Veterinary Surgeons who deliver outstanding clinical care and customer service.

We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with at least 2 years of UK (or UK equivalent) experience to work in our Chelmsford, Danbury and Laindon practices. Our vet role offers great flexibility and gives an excellent opportunity to be part of a close knit network of friendly vets, nurses and support staff. You will have an interesting and varied caseload!

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an environment where colleagues support you by sharing skills and knowledge to give our patients the best outcomes. You’ll be involved in cases using state-of-the-art technologies such as MRI, ultrasound, laparoscopy, endoscopy and our blood bank!

This roe consists of 39 hours a week over a 4 day shift pattern.

Skills and experience:

You must be a Veterinary Surgeon who is registered with the RCVS. You should be confident working sole charge.

A full driver's license is essential.

Medivet Chelmsford, Medivet Danbury and Medivet Laindon boast high ratings and great reviews! The practices are a mere 10 minutes drive away from each other and are supported by our 24-hour hospital in Southend.

Medivet Chelmford is the heart of the city and is surrounded by a multitude of shops restaurants and bars. Hylands Park provides a lovely place to stroll and enjoy a range of activities. Medivet Danbury is located in a peaceful village in the Chelmsford area.

Medivet Laindon is located a short distance from Laindon town centre which has various shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Laindon train station is only a 6-minute walk to the practice
