Small Animal Vet

Independently owned, 3 Vet practice seeking new small animal Vet in Trowbridge.

4 day working week & 1 in 6 weekends. 6 weeks holiday. £2000 CPD allowance.

Independently owned seeking new vet to add to their vastly experienced team, applicants must possess a minimum of two years experience while also being confident in terms of surgery, consulting and working sole charge where necessary(mainly just weekends). The practice you will be joining is very well-equipped with additional access to laparoscopy also provided.

This is a full time position which equates in this instance to a 4 day working week and 1 in 6 weekends. The weekends alternate between Saturday only and full duty weekend, so you would only have on call duties over the weekend on a 1 in 12 basis. Regular on call is part of the role and you will be contracted to 1 night every 2 weeks, which is about as good as on call rota's tend to be! The on call 'day' only starts at 4pm and you would then have your regular weekly day off the day after, so vets are well looked after with consistent time off provided after any on call work.

Salary as always will be dependent on experience and the expertise of the individual but should range from £35,000-£50,000. A whopping 6 weeks holiday is on offer alongside a £2000 CPD allowance with 5 days paid leave.
