Our friendly practice in Burgess Hill (15 minutes from Brighton and Crawley) is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced nurse to join their team. If you are someone who instinctively wants to go that extra mile to provide the best care to your patients, we could have the role for you!  

We are a happy, busy practice offering clients a very high standard of service whilst maintaining a compassionate approach to our work. The team includes 6 vets, 8 qualified nurses, a practice manager and a great front of house team.  

The practice is purpose built with digital x-ray, ultrasonography, in-house laboratory facilities plus separate dog, cat and isolation wards. 

The nursing team are very efficient and established. The practice ensures their skills are fully utilised. 

Person Specification

We are looking for a senior candidate who can help lead the team and ensure clinical excellence is maintained. You will bring new ideas to help us develop even further. Your role would include day-to-day nursing, as well as controlling and ordering stock. You will need to be an excellent nurse, a good communicator, a strong leader and have a passion for animal care and welfare. You will be able to multi task, instinctively see when things need to be done, and be able to ensure the smooth running of the day. Several of our nurses have additional qualifications and further study (including diplomas) would be fully supported.
