Job Details

We are seeking a Mobile Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Central London. 

This role plays a crucial part in part within the Medivet family. It will see you working in different practice environments, allowing you to gain exposure to varied surgeries and learn from a diverse team of veterinary professionals.

Here, you will create a large connection of colleagues, working together and sharing knowledge to deliver outstanding service and care for our clients and patients.

Branch

The mobile team work in 'working groups' supporting 2-4 branches within our Camberwell region.

These include; 24-hr Camberwell, Clapham, Battersea, Fulham, Parsons Green, Surrey Quays, Southwark and Dalston. 

Salary and hours: 

Joining our national network of veterinary surgeons at Medivet, offers exceptional opportunities for career development while enjoying a very competitive salary package.

This includes £12,000 housing allowance, vehicle or £2,500 allowance, £1500 CPD allowance plus 3-days CPD leave, RCVS, VDS and BVA membership. 5 weeks annual holiday allowance plus bank holidays (FTE).

We work to a 4-day week (09:00-19:00) 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends and a fair share of bank holiday cover, minimal on call duties over the year, approx. 3 weeks to support our dedicated night team if required, enabling the development of your ECC skills and experience.

Key accountabilities:

Joining our professional, personable team in the practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.

As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team.
