Be part of one of the UKs leading small animal referral centres!

A position has become available to join our Anaesthesia team on
a one-year fixed term contract. The position will ideally start in July
2021 although there may be some flexibility with the start date.

The current anaesthesia team consists of four clinicians and two anaesthesia residents. Providing individually tailored anaesthetic
and analgesia protocols for our patients, our anaesthetists support colleagues in the disciplines of soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, medicine, neurology, oncology, imaging, dermatology,
ECC and cardiology. They also take an active role in the care of our ICU patients, alongside our Emergency and Critical Care team. Our philoso-phy is very much one of friendly co-operation between all members
of the team.

Willows is extremely proud to have a strong track record of Interns going on to undertake Specialist training. To this end, all Interns are mentored and supported in undertaking clinical research, presentations, and publications.

We have some of the best facilities to be found in Specialist multi-disciplinary centres, including onsite MRI and CT. The facilities are complimented by an excellent team of support staff who give our clinicians the opportunity to concentrate on their clinical caseload
and
to work in a pleasant, supportive, and good-humoured atmosphere.

The applicant should be highly motivated and have excellent communication skills – a very good command of spoken and written English is essential. The candidate should have had at least two years’ post-graduate experience of working in small animal practice, with at least some of this time spent in the UK, and be keen to join a friendly team environment which is dedicated to the provision of the highest level of care for our patients, clients and referring Veterinary Surgeons. Prior completion of a rotating internship is desirable but not obligatory. Our philosophy is very much one of friendly co-operation between all mem-bers of the team with a collaborative culture between clinicians working across every specialism.

Willows is proud to be accredited by Investors in People at the extended Silver level, and we are dedicated to providing excellent working conditions, care and support for all our 200+ personnel.

Professional Perks:

  • Competitive salary
  • 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)
  • Birthday leave
  • Structured in-house training program
  • Generous CPD allowance
  • Well-being and Employee Assist programme
  • Unbeatable learning environment
  • Stunning state-of-the-art purpose built hospital facilities.
