An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our practice in Warrington.
We are looking for a Vet who has a bias towards feline medicine and surgery who can help push the clinic to reach its full potential! The practice has a cat clinic which has currently been closed but we would like to reopen this a couple of days a week. This role will have a mixed case load of canine and feline patients but we hope with time as the cat clinic grows this role will evolve.
This role would suit a vet who enjoys all aspects of first opinion practice. The successful candidate would need to have exceptional communication skills and enjoy dealing with clients. In return we would offer an attractive salary and benefits package.
You will be working alongside an experienced Lead Vet a head nurse and a team of support staff.
This role is full time working 39 hours per week over 4 days giving you a great work/home life balance. Weekends will be 1:3 half weekends or 1:6 full.
Salary dependent on experience
Vehicle or vehicle allowance £2,500
CPD allowance £1,500 plus 3 days CPD leave
RCVS, VDS, BVA fees paid
5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
Warrington practice is well equipped with ultrasound, radiography, in house laboratory, laparoscopy and a separate cat clinic comprising of reception, waiting room, consults rooms, ward and a theatre which is currently not being used but has potential to use in the future. The practice also has access to our Alder hospital allowing easy access for CT scans and out of hours care.
