Job Details

This progressive and highly successful practice based on the Wirral are looking for an experienced SA vet to join their team on a permanent basis.

The friendly team of 8 vets, including 2 certificate holders; one in Dermatology and one awaiting certification for their CertAVP, work over 3 sites in the area, all of which are within 10 miles of the hustle and bustle of Liverpool city centre.

The size, location and varied caseload means this client can support a range of skill sets and continued professional development aspirations be that medical, surgical or Leadership.
The team offer superior care and a wide range of routine primary care services, they are a veterinary nurse training practice and provide placement facilities for undergraduate degree-level nurses and student veterinary surgeons.

Due to the experience within the team they can offer flexible full or part-time hours but the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years small animal experience. 
You will be required to cover 1 full weekend in 4 weeks (8.30am-5.30pm) in a different branch, and can do more weekends if this is preferable. 
The team have a set rota pattern and so would be able to offer set working days, shift times and weekends per rota.
You will be based in one branch Mon-Fri and then will be required to cover weekends in a second branch approx 12 miles away. 
There are no OOH included in this role.

On offer for the right candidate is a generous salary-dependent upon experience, 5 weeks holiday per year + birthday leave day, CPD up to Certificate Level is supported and funded, RCVS fees paid, Relocation support plus employee discounts and other reward schemes.
