Job Details
Our 4.5 vet, independent practice in County Durham have a vacancy for an additional veterinary surgeon to join their team.
The successful candidate will join a team with traditional values offering and excellent, first opinion service. They are well equipped with digital x-ray, full labs and ultrasound etc.
All vets get consult and ops time daily and partake in the OOH's rota of 1/4. The OOH's are typically quiet for vets as the nurse takes the phone. When vets are required, it is generally for a genuine emergency. Many nights on call do not result in any call outs for the veterinary surgeons. Applicants need to be comfortable with emergency surgical procedures such as C-Sections.
