We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon that enjoys being a good general small animal vet and loves to build good client relations with a caring nature. Our alternating shift patterns alternate a day of consulting with a day of operating, allowing our vets to focus on their patients and deliver the best care to a high standard. We have a nurse assisting with all consults to help hold pets during examinations and help with pricing and treatment. 1 in 3 Saturdays (9 am - 3 pm) are required. No out of hours.

The practice is part of a group of 3 sites in Salisbury, Downton and Ringwood. We pride ourselves on our excellent client care and put the patient at the heart of everything we do. The position is based in our practice in the beautiful cathedral city of Salisbury. We have all the usually equipment, including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, full blood machines and separate cat ward.

Our friendly, supportive and relaxed team consists of 5 vets in the group, with a certificate holder in internal medicine, a vet almost finishing a certificate in surgery and great support staff. We encourage clinical freedom and case continuity. We are able to provide you with help and support from our experienced team, whilst developing skills in the practice.

We are looking for someone who is friendly, enthusiastic and a good team player. It is important you are keen to learn, develop and improve. We encourage CPD and would support a certificate.
