The Role

Here at Priory Vets we have a fantastic opportunity available, to join our friendly, passionate, 7 Vet team. This is a unique opportunity for a Vet Surgeon who feels comfortable with most routine/ first opinion procedures to develop not only your own skills, but those of your colleagues.

Our days are split between, consulting, surgeries and ECC. No two days are the same! We do also have an ambulance service for conducting home visits. Preventative health care and high standards of care at all times are two things that we strongly believe in! We are big on interests and encourage professional development. Throughout our group sites
we have certificate holders in surgery & exotics.

Being based in a busy seaside town, we have many fantastic, bonded clients who have visited us for many years. We also have clients visiting us as a one off when on holiday in the area.

We offer a good work/life balance rota:

  • Four days per week
  • Some OOH's work - but very manageable - (one night every two weeks, one weekend in 3 months)
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays mornings.

Our caseload includes caring for Small animals, Small furries, Exotics, Avian's, Wildlife and even the odd seal! We are also proud to work with local charities and rescues! We were established 70 years ago and are a dedicated Veterinary Group offering care across East Yorkshire.

There is so much to do and enjoy in your spare time in and around Bridlington! We are also just a short commute or train ride from many major cities such as Hull, York, and Leeds.

Our team work hard, and we really believe in supporting each other! Over our three sites our team consists of 7 knowledgeable Vets, 7 experienced RVNs, 2 dedicated Nursing assistants as well as a fantastic, friendly client care team! We pride ourselves on having a friendly welcoming team in and out of work. The team often socialize outside of work and take part in team bonding. At times we are more like family then co-workers! The team in their spare time can often be found attending local quizzes, running charity marathons, or even trying to crack escape rooms!
