The role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a part time vet to join our lovely team at Medivet Petts Wood- ‘All Petts, Petts Wood’.


The practice is set in a fantastic location in leafy Petts Wood, South East London situated on station square, a two-minute walk from Petts Wood station and surrounded by cafes and shops with a boutique village feel.
There is a loyal and strong following of bonded clients, many of whom are insured allowing scope to work cases up to a good standard.


The small close-knit team consists of 3 vets’ each working a 3 or 4-day week, and an experienced team of nurses and support staff.
The practice benefits from Medivet Beckenham continuous care hospital a relatively short drive away. Here there is access to 24hr hospital facilities as well as the expertise of experienced colleagues where the ‘hub and spoke’ system can be utilised.


This is a part time position averaging 28 hours per week consisting of 3 weekdays with a share of Saturdays. However, there is flexibility offered with less days/ hours available, or a full-time role with time spent at the main hospital 1 day a week if preferred. 


We are looking for a veterinary surgeon with at least 2 years’ experience, exceptional communication skills and good written and spoken English. You will be confident with basic surgery and consulting. Certificate study is encouraged and will be supported.
