Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon

The Worcester Vet Group (Ambleside Vet Clinic) are excited to announce that we are in the
position to offer a small animal Veterinary Surgeon an amazing opportunity to join our
friendly, family owned, independent Practice set in the heart of Worcester.

You will be joining a highly skilled, friendly team including a senior Vet with over thirty
years’ experience in veterinary science and an extremely competent, qualified nursing team.

We are offering a competitive salary which will be negotiated depending on experience and
ability.

Hours of work are expected to be no more than 37.5 hours per week and accommodation
above the main Practice can be made available within the overall employment package.

We offer first opinion consultations, in house laboratory testing, soft tissue and orthopaedic
work, a range of modern diagnostic and medical techniques, and are keen to evaluate and
explore the latest innovations in veterinary medicine.

Ambleside Vets has trained many Veterinary Nurses over the years and is an accredited
Veterinary Nurse Training Practice and firmly encourages cpd with all employees.

We are fortunate to be opening a branch Practice covering consultations and minor
procedures and the successful candidate will take a share in the work of the branch clinic
after a suitable induction process and with on-going support as needed.

The successful candidate must be fluent in English, and enjoy the prospect of working with
other colleagues in a supportive environment of qualified nurses and other veterinary
surgeons.
