The role:

We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon with extensive clinical experience and a strong background in managing teams of clinical staff to join us as Regional Director on a fixed term basis, starting in May 2021 for 9 months covering our Liverpool region.

This role will see you working with Medivet’s senior partners, managing and leading clinical teams on a regional basis to deliver outstanding care and service and to strengthen the relationship between the branches and the central management structures in the group.

We’re growing fast and we need another regional clinical director to join our family. This position requires travelling to practices, and occasional time spent away from home in the case of more remote practices.

Salary & Benefits
Salary £70,000
Car or car allowance £6,000
5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

Skills and experience:

Solid clinical and management background in private small animal practice, with a strong grasp of the commercial requirements of successful practice
Experience and aptitude for leadership: ability to motivate and inspire others
Energy, passion and enthusiasm
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
Desire and ability to learn fast
Adaptability and flexibility
Ability to work in a team and alone
Common sense: deliver practical and effective solutions
Experience managing multiple Veterinary clinics/practices
Proven ability to mentor/lead a team of Veterinarians
Experience recruiting, managing and producing performance reviews for Veterinary Surgeons
Proven ability to drive revenue growth in practice/s
