Job Details
Purosearch is pleased to be working with an independent small animal practice which has central themes of compassion and ethical treatment. The practice was opened by a passionate and experienced Vet Surgeon in the early 90's. Although the practice may be almost 30 years old, it prides itself on being part of all the up and coming techniques in veterinary medicine and is known to be a thoroughly modern practice with good old fashioned values.
The practice is truly centred around safety, health and well-being of both patients and clients as their main priority and they would really like someone who shares the same values. The practice has a definite family feel about the clinic and everyone is pleased to see familiar friendly faces when they visit - the practice is looking for a new team member due to the growing popularity of this truly fantastic practice.
A bit about you and the role:
- 5 years plus experience but mentoring as required.
- Needs to be keen on operating.
- Plenty of surgery experience.
- No OOH.
- 1 weekend in 2 with a day off in the week.
- 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays.
- Above average salary commensurate with experience.
- Accommodation provided if required.
Sole charge at times will also be necessary. The practice use a dedicated out of hours provider. Surgery times are 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 6pm. Saturdays are 9am to 12pm to be shared equally.
