Full Time Registered Veterinary Nurse

We have an opportunity for a full time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our fantastic practice which comprises of eight vets, nine nurses and support staff. This is a full time position covering maternity. You will work 5 days a week plus 1 in 5 weekends. We are looking for a dedicated team player who enjoys working to a high standard and has excellent commu-nication skills. Your role will be to supply surgical skills and nursing care to the veterinary team to result in excellent standards of patient and client care.

The Tier 3 small animal hospital is well equipped with a supportive and friendly team. We are equipped with various diagnostic and clinical tools, including laparoscopy, endoscopy, ultrasonography, digital radiography (including dental radiography), in-house laboratory, multi-parameter monitoring equipment, and much more! We also provide OOH support for 7 local veterinary practice providing a range of interesting medical & surgical cases.

The team is a very friendly, welcoming and supportive family - everyone has a real ‘team player’ attitude, and looks after each other whenever possible. There is also a great social side to our team with regular dog walks, pub visits etc. As a Practice we regularly get involved with local events, including the Raft Race, Soapbox Race, Newfoundland Rescue, Flower Show, Lido Doggie Swim and Christmas Victorian Evening. We are proud of our progressive standards and are looking for a cheerful, new member of the team with a can do attitude and a willingness to learn with us.
