2613 Full Time Experienced SA Vet for Independent practice near South Barnet Sal up to £67k pa

Our client is a truly independent practice based in North London near South Barnet. They are looking for two experienced additional vets to join their friendly team.

The practice is based in a fantastic location with tube and train stations just 20 minutes’ walk away from the practice. The tube takes just 40 mins to get into Central London giving you great access to the capital but lots of green spaces to enjoy your time off away from the city should you want to. There is also a fantastic selection of local schools, excellent shopping facilities such as Brent Cross and plenty of places to eat and drink, making it an attractive location for individuals, couples and families alike.

The practice although independent it is well established, modern and has a high standard of equipment. The team are dedicated, enthusiastic and are proud to provide consistently high standards of veterinary care to clients and their pets. They work as a close-knit team appreciating everyone for their professional expertise and contributions.

The client is looking for two experienced small animal vets. The first with 2 years and the second with 4 years post graduate UK experience. You must have excellent communication skills, have a positive attitude, enjoy being part of a team and be willing to adopt and share the practice values. You must be confident with consultations and routine surgeries and take on more complex cases with within a supportive environment. The practice is keen to support and develop interests and in return would want candidates who enjoy continued learning and development. You must be patient and caring even in difficult and challenging situations.

The roles are both full time working either a 4 or 5 day week. Weekends are Saturdays only on a 1:3 rota and there are no out of hours. The practice prides itself on offering its own inpatient care, providing support to clients when they need it most. This is very light and is based on a 1:3 weeks. In the last year the practice has seen just 109 patients and some of these were more than one a night, demonstrating that inpatient care although a priority, is not a big commitment.
