Job Details
Our South Yorkshire based client have a vacancy for an experienced veterinary surgeon following the growth and expansion of their new surgery.
The new building is being built to hospital standards and will offer a dedicated OOH's service and as such there will be no OOH's with this role.
The Team is made up of 6 vets, including the co-founder and Clinical Director who has an interest in emergency work and orthopedics, plus 8 nurses and 2 ANA's. Between them the team have interests in: soft tissue surgery, Orthopedic surgery, imaging, medicine, ECC and feline medicine.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with routine surgical procedures, cat and dog neuters, lump removals etc. In addition you need to be happy with their own medical work ups and case continuity.
This is a full time role but there are no OOH's with this role as the dedicated OOH team handle that, however there will be 1:6 weekend work with 8hrs on a Sat and 5hrs on a Sunday but with a full day off on the week following the long weekend.

DR Radiology
Digital X-ray
Ultrasound with colour doppler
Flexible endoscopy
2 ops theatres
Electrosurgery
Capnography
Piped oxygen
Autoclavable oscillating saw
Orthopedic drill
