Senior Veterinary Surgeon

We are looking for a Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join our team on a full time basis. The position is 5 day per week, a combination of earlies and lates with one in three Saturdays. No OOH. Our ideal candidate would be confident and competent in all soft tissue surgeries and basic orthopae-dics and will be happy to mentor and guide less experienced team members. We offer a great opportunity for vets who have a surgical bias. You will work closely with the Practice Principal and contribute to the management, organisation and financial performance of the practice.

Our large and airy practice has 4 consult rooms, dedicated x-ray and ultrasound room and a large modern theatre and prep area. We have our own in house lab, dental machine and separate cattery and kennels.

We are a 5 vet practice with a super support team of 4 RVN's and our wonderfully efficient receptionists. Our clinic has an established client base and our team are passionate about providing gold standard care to our clients and their pets. Our highly experienced Practice Principal regularly provides rewards to our team with Costa Fridays and our monthly practice star award celebrates our employee’s achievements.

Our ideal candidate would have experience in a Senior Vet position. Excellent communication skills are required together with very strong surgical skills and the ability to meet deadlines. We require a motivated individual with a focus on delivering an exceptional service to our clients.
