Job Details
Our independent client in the lovely city of Oxford are looking for an experienced SA vet to join their friendly team.
With 2 sites located just 6 miles apart this team work closely to support each other and share their knowledge offering a full 24 hour service to their clients.
This is a full time role working a 4 day week with with 1 in 2 Saturday mornings and will involve being part of a 1 in 4 rota nights and weekends (OOH duties are generally not that busy) with time off the following week. The vet on-call will always be supported by an RVN on call. The team also benefit from a 6pm finish on most days during the week.
The team are proud of their 24 hour service ensuring continuity of care for customers and all team members are fully equipped to deal with the full and varied caseload, with facilities such as endoscopy, ultrasound and easy access to care for exotics too.
The team work across both sites; the main one in Oxford is where most of the action takes place although the local branch practice is fully functioning and routine operations are carried out there too.
On offer is a good level of salary, in line with experience, and a generous CPD allowance. There is also short-term accommodation available for anyone relocating to the area.
