We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated and supportive team. Work begins at 8.30am and involves both consulting with clients and their pets and operating in our surgical theatre. Vets are encouraged to work up their cases to a high level. Finish times are either 5,6, or 7pm and one Vet and one RVN are on hospital in patient care overnight. Our Vets work a four day week which allows time to balance the interests of clinical work with study, outdoor pursuits or relaxation. We will also consider those who are looking for a part time role. Salary range of £29,000 - £55,000 depending on experience. The practice will,
if required, be able to provide accommodation on site. This is in the heart of Thame with all amenities within walking distance and with private parking.

Sprinz and Nash Veterinary Hospital is located in the historic market town of Thame, in the South East of England and is surrounded by the beautiful countryside of the Chiltern Hills. We are within easy travelling distance to London and Oxford. The area has excellent schooling and great for outdoor pursuits. The hospital provides excellent facilities including dental x-ray, in-house laboratory, endoscopy, ultrasound, digital x-ray, separate dog and cat and isolation wards to name a few. We are staffed by a friendly, forward -thinking and supportive team of Vets, nurses and auxiliary nurses. We are looking to improve our quality of work-life balance. We have a varied, challenging and rewarding caseload for those who wish to take on further qualifications and support for those less experienced from within our excellent team of Vets.

Our Vets are all team players and delight in helping each other with cases. We have a certificate holder in medicine and one of our Vets is studying for a certificate in ophthalmology. We are involved in supporting and sponsoring our local events and have been involved in fund-raising charity events. We are currently planning our fund-raising activity for this year.

Due to our hospital status and varied case load, we are keen to support someone with specialist interests. In addition to your excellent clinical and communication skills, you will need to be a people oriented person, who is willing to support and guide your colleagues.
