Veterinary Surgeon looking for an orifice job?

Our endoscope is missing its Endoscopist and would like a new one! Since introducing endoscopy into our practice two years ago, we have found it an invaluable tool in our day to day cases and now find our-selves without an Endoscopist. We’d love to find someone who enjoys looking into animals down very small holes. The current rota would be 4 days Monday - Friday with a 1:7 full Weekends and 1:7 Friday late shift plus Saturday. The evening on call is only until 9 pm Mon – Fri. Saturday and Sunday are covered by an external out of hours provider.

We are a first opinion small animal practice, which yes means we see all the usual vaccinations, dentals, mass removals and so on and so on (and yes we still have to empty anal glands). But we are also a practice that encourages individual interests. With nearly all of our vets (and nurses) on certificates and an internal referral system we are able to deal with almost all of the cases that come our way.

We are looking for someone to join our (slightly crazy) Wheelie family who either has an endoscopy certificate or is wanting to start one so that our nice £50k Storz endoscope doesn’t sit in the cupboard for the next five years. Our ideal candidate would be enthusiastic about practising a high standard of patient and customer care and who would like to be an integral part of an ever-growing practice.
