Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Diagnostic Imaging or
Health Sciences Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor of Diagnostic Imaging

Veterinarian with advanced training in Diagnostic Imaging. Completion
of a residency program approved by the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) or European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI) by the effective date of appointment is required. ACVR or ECVDI board certification is required for appointment at the Associate Professor rank and for continued employment beyond the second year of appoint-ment at the Assistant Professor rank. 

Clinical experience and competence in Small Animal diagnostic imaging is required. Demonstrated aptitude/experience in teaching is required. 

For the Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Diagnostic Imaging position, a documented record of creative scholarship or the potential to develop a clinical research program in the discipline is required. Must possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work with others in a collegial team atmosphere.

A valid license to practice veterinary medicine in California is required before employment begins (California Business and Professions Code Section 4846-4857). Individuals without a full California license must obtain a University License (California Business and Professions Code Section 4848.1) by the time of appointment.
