Veterinary Surgeon required at Blackness Veterinary Surgery, Dundee

The Role

An enthusiastic first opinion Veterinary Surgeon is required to provide a high standard of care to our valued patients and clients. The successful candidate will carry out a good mixture of surgery, investigations, and consulting. Full time consists of four days a week and one in three Saturdays with no out of hours and a day off after a Saturday on, allowing for a good work-life balance.

About Us

The practice has an experienced team of vets and nurses. We have recently moved into a large modern building. The practice is well equipped with surgical and diagnostic tools and we carry out as much work as we can in-house. CPD is funded and a fee-earning certificate would be encouraged if desired. We are located in the centre of up and coming Dundee, with good shopping, restaurants and nightlife, a blossoming cultural scene as well as plenty of access to Scotland's great outdoors.

Applicant Requirements

The successful candidate will have experience in a clinical setting and be comfortable to carry out routine consultations, investigations and surgery without supervision. A friendly approach to clients and the ability to work well as part of a team is essential. Some experience in emergency medicine would be beneficial, though not essential.
