Job Details
Our client has a group of 4 independently owned practices in Surrey. This well-respected group of practices who are working towards Tier 3 status.
They are ideally looking for a full time experienced senior vet who preferably has a surgical bias. You must be confident with sole charge and wide range of surgical procedures, as this position will be based at the main site, which sees a wide and varied caseload. The team has 10 registered veterinary nurses and are a training practice. They also have a diverse team of vets which includes six certificate holders. Further qualifications are funded and encouraged. The practice is well equipped and works to a high standard of client care, offering orthopaedics, laparoscopy, endoscopy, ultrasonography, acupuncture and laser therapy as well as their own laboratory and behaviorist.
The practice provides it’s own out of hours service to offer clients and their animals continuity of care. The rota for this will equate to no more than one night a week on call and 1:6 weekends on call. There will be additional Saturday clinics at the smaller branches so in addition there will be a Saturday shift 9am – 4pm every 12 weeks.
In return the client can offer a very competitive package, funded CPD and accommodation should it be required.
