Job Details
Our client is a group of 3 branch practices plus a large Hospital site based across Merseyside and are looking to recruit a new experienced vet to join their team.
This group of practices are looking for an experienced vet who is confident with consultations, routine surgeries and periods of sole charge. This role will be covering the 3 sites, so a flexible working approach would be beneficial. The practices are very close to the main hospital for additional facilities and support. There is a busy and varied caseload, with generous 15 minute consults and use of the hospital as a back up for overnight care.
Across the group you will have access to digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy and arthroscope. You will be joining a team of 5 vets whose interests include a medical certificate holder, a vet who is interested in exotics and another vet who is studying towards certificate in orthopaedics.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience. You will be working 4 days per week 8.30am-6.30pm with a 1:4 Saturday rota and Sunday mornings on a 1:8 rota. Part of this weekend rota will be covering at the main Hospital site. There are no out of hours with this position.
In return the practice offers a very competitive salary, 5 weeks holiday, health plan, generous CPD allowance, RCVS, VDS and BSAVA fees paid.
