Veterinary Surgeon
Bedford
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Veterinary Surgeon to join an independent, small animal and exotic practice in Bedford, they see an exciting and wide range of species on a daily basis. My client provides a progressive, dynamic and vibrant environment to work in and are proud to have been accredited Small Animal Veterinary Hospital status.
The team is made up of 15 vets ranging from 29 years-experience to new grads, including several certificate holders and Cert AVP’s, who are on-hand for support and advice.
You will have access to all the usual toys from the start including digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental x-rays and endoscope. They have the ability to work up cases to a high standard in house with the option to refer locally. My client encourages case continuity and have daily rounds and regular journal clubs for case discussion.
My client is based in Bedford, a busy market town with plenty of good local pubs and restaurants (when they open again) and activities to make up most of your spare time. There are good train-links from Bedford and if you crave the big city, London St Pancras is only a 35 minute train journey away!
The role:
4 or 5 days per week
1 in 4 weekends
No OOH
Great work/ life balance
The candidate:
My client is looking for a small animal Vet and an exotic Vet - both candidates should have a t least 4 years UK experience. You will be confident with all aspects of general surgery and medicine, have excellent communication skills and a sense of humour.
