Do you enjoy socially distanced tea and cakes and are you looking to join a happy, experienced and supportive team?

After 6 years with us Kostas has decided it’s time to move back to Greece ☹ and we’re looking for a vet to fill the void he’s leaving behind! If you enjoy practising high quality veterinary medicine and surgery and love providing clients with excellent customer service you could be just the person to join our 7 vet team. Our current skill base includes both veterinary surgeon and veterinary nurse certificate holders with skills
in medicine, ultrasound, surgery and anaesthesia.

We are a family owned, independent, RCVS accredited practice, who believe that providing a good, fair working environment is essential to
a happy working life. We are a member of the Vet Dynamics community, have team members with additional qualifications in leadership and management, hold ISFM Gold-Friendly Cat Status and last year, based on reviews from our clients, we came 4th in the Best UK Vet competition.

Our premises are well-equipped including: ultrasound, ECHO, laparos-copic kit for key-hole surgery, bronchoscopes, gastroscope, in-house biochemistry, haematology and urine analysers, multi-parameter monitors, ECG, IM3 dental machine with low and high speed drills,
K-Laser, digital and dental radiography and lots more.

We feel CPD is vital to perform at a high level and we're happy to support both CPD and certificates. The salary package on offer is commensurate with experience and can include accommodation in a 3-bed house around 5 minutes’ drive from the surgery. Whilst experience is preferred ample support is available to accommodate a new graduate. We are also happy to consider flexible working hours.

We’re in a rural location but close to the bright lights of Leicester, Nottingham, Derby and Birmingham and there are fantastic road, rail
and air links for when we’re all allowed to travel again. There are also excellent cycle paths and local leisure facilities close-by in the National Forest and Peak District.

To find out more about us please check out our website www.vetscoalville.co.uk; speak to one of our veterinary team – Kostas, Cathy or Nadine; or email us and we’ll send you a virtual tour so you can get a feel for the practice.

To apply, please email your CV with a covering letter via the apply button or phone Diane on 01530 836654 or 07500 015007.
