Job Details
Our client who is based in Basildon is looking for an experienced vet to join their friendly and supportive team. Being based is Basildon you will have the best of both worlds as you have great links to central London which is just 30 minutes by train away.
This is an established group of practices who have a main hospital and two additional branches. You will be based mainly at the hospital but will also provide cover at one of the branches one day per week, at the most. The practice provides their own out of hours service, offering their clients and their pets the best all round care. This a full-time role which will include one night of out of hours per week which you will be paid for, approximately £1000-1500 pounds. Weekends will be on a rota 1:8 full weekends including nights and 1:2 Saturday AM working 9am-1pm.
The ideal candidate will have at least a year experience and be confident in consults and routine soft tissue surgery. Applications will be accepted from less experienced candidates who are able to demonstrate what they have to offer and what sets them apart from other candidates.
You will be joining a team of 8 vets and over 10 RVN’s plus additional support staff and nursing in training.
