West Sussex
Independent Practice
A 100% independent and highly regarded small animal practice in West Sussex is recruiting for an additional Veterinary Surgeon to join the team to increase their already experienced team of 6 Veterinary Surgeons.
You would be our 7th Veterinary Surgeon, working with 9 RVNs, 3 SVNs, 2 ANAs, 5 receptionists. They have a talented range of staff with the experience to support those developing in their careers and helping to improve the health of the profession.
The practice boasts excellent facilities and services including but not limited to: Ophthalmology care by RCVS cert holder Vet, laparoscopic surgery, exclusive dental suite, excellent imaging facilities with an experienced Veterinary Surgeon offering an amazing service.
My client has 2 fully equipped coastal veterinary surgeries next to the South Downs National Park. Great location for Brighton, Chichester and London!
They are looking for someone interested in the following:
•Active involvement in the direction and development of the practice
•Autonomy to make day-to-day decisions to improve systems, processes and client engagement.
•An alternative to the corporate ‘recipe’
•Lead your team of veterinary surgeons with the support of the Director who wants to focus on expanding the ophthalmology service.
•Support others to help them develop their skills and in their career progression.
•Potential to become a Clinical Director with a stake in the business
THE ROLE:
4 day week
1:5 weekend rota
No OOH
20 minute consults
THE INDIVIDUAL:
Candidates should ideally have 3+ years clinical experience and already know the ins and outs of a day-to-day veterinary GP work load.
BENEFITS:
•£1500 CPD budget and encouragement to study towards a Certificate
•RCVS and VDS fees paid
•Salary £50,000 to £60,000 depending on your skills and what you can bring to the role
