Beech House Veterinary Surgery are looking for a Senior Vet to join the team. If you are looking to take the next step in your career and lead a team and would like access to an interesting caseload, then this is the role for you!

Beech House is a modern, small animal veterinary practice on the outskirts of Radcliffe and Little Lever. We provide an excellent service to our clients and offer an excellent work/life balance to our employees. We are a team of long-standing staff, which includes Practice Director, 5 Vets, 2 RVN's, 4 student nurses, 3 PCA's and 5 receptionists.

We are a well-equipped clinic with endoscope, ultrasound, digital X-Ray and we carry out orthopaedic procedures. We are also in the process of installing laparoscopic surgery equipment in the practice. In addition, you will have access to support from a wider close-knit regional team of over 30 vets, including certificate holders in Ophthalmology, Surgery and Diagnostic imaging.

We are looking for a Vet with a passion to lead and manage a team. We offer great support, where you will work alongside our Practice Director, to manage the practice and our people on a day-to-day basis. The ideal candidate will be someone with a keen surgical interest and if you are currently working towards a certificate that would certainly be an advantage. We have an advanced practitioner referral clinician, who would be happy to mentor you through your certificate! Previous experience is preferred, but not essential for this role, but you will be a confident Vet, great motivator and enjoy getting the best out of people.

This is a full-time position, which includes 1 in 4 weekends and there are no on-call duties. Your own further development will also be encouraged.
